Omegle privacy concern!? - LM - 11-09-2012 09:22 AM

My younger sister was on that site that I just learned about literally 10 minutes. She was messing around with the convo ( rick rolling) and when she asked the name/age/ gender of the "stranger", they responded with MY INFO. She says its a coincidence since thousands are on it but as someone who does not have a Facebook and tries to be anonymous on the internet as possible, I'm very concerned. Anyone experience this on this website?

She was on her user side so WTF?!

Thats a common hack thing, its nothing to worry about.

Well, I guess it's possible. 30 000 people are online usually and unless your name is super uncommon (like, Izgarahagabaldi, or something) I wouldn't worry about it. Just tell your sister to be careful on that site! Smile

She's tricking you. And tell her to get off that. I'm sure your parents wouldn't like that
