How to set my facebook privacy settings? - Aussie - 11-09-2012 09:23 AM

How do I set my profile to where people who are not my friends can only see my Info and Photos tabs?

DO NOT tell me to go to
Account > Privacy Settings > Customize
I've tried that.

What exact settings do I choose?

Facebook privacy settings. It should say Basic Directory Settings. Click view settings.

account > privacy settings > customize

jk lol. it depends on what you want. i have pretty much everything set to 'friends only' except for bio/favorite quotations, current city/hometown, and interests. those are set to everyone. it reassures people that it's you before they request you as a friend Big Grin

[edit] in case you didn't know, there are more privacy options than just the ones under 'customize' ..go to 'edit options' instead of customize.. i seriously didn't know it was there for the longest time.

AT the right corner of the facebook page, click the account option... and there will be a bullet point PRIVACY SETTINGS. CLick it and set them!

You need to go to the right most side of your FaceBook Page.

Click Account > then, Privacy settings > and finally Customize

Now choose what kind of setting you want. If you want to share your information with 'friends only' customize it.. or just select “only me” if you don’t want to share. This, you need to customize yourself, according to your priorities.+
