How do I hide my "recent activity" on my own profile page after the new facebook privacy update.? - Lynanne M - 11-09-2012 09:25 AM

I don't want others to see who's wall I've been posting on or who's photos I've left comments on, etc. I used to have this blocked. With the new privacy update (Dec 2009), suddenly these things are showing on my wall again. Help?

Facebook sucks..........They didn't provide any link to update these after you have updated any single privacy setting.........They require you to do it just once ( W T F :-@ )......... I'm also in the same problem.

We have no other way than waiting.

go to "notification", right on the bottom, than "see all", then de-select what you don't want to appear on your own wall.

You can't. There is apparently a bug in the new facebook privacy settings that shows this information on your wall and you can't turn it off. The "old settings" that previously hid this recent activity don't work anymore. Please see this facebook help thread for more info: http://www.facebook.com/help/question.php?id=258349&s=120

You can submit a bug report to facebook about this problem here: http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=updated_privacy_bug
