im pretty new to twitter so yeah... also what does it mean when it says (9) listed?
and how can you see if things are trending?

With abundance of online articles, on the same subject #GetTwitterFollowers, it would not be fair if we repeat those...over here again. Anyway, let me just point out the general method;
First thing your profile, the main reason as to why others should follow you. Your profile should be worked-up and displayed within the portal with a matching theme.Follow others with whom you share common interest and out of them, at-least few will follow you. Take part in the community activity and make a meaningful contribution.
Apart from this, you can also purchase twitter accounts which already has a large number of followers, use tools developed by third party, or use paid services where experts can manage your account.
