Facebook privacy question(s)? - Happy Sephiroth - 11-09-2012 09:31 AM

1) Would the email that you enter when you sign up appear to the public or any of your friends?
2) Can anyone besides my friends view my page?
3) Is personal information required?
4) What can you not hide (As in: Name, Personal information, etc)?

Any more privacy settings that you cannot hide would be helpful.
I do not want to make a facebook account if I know my information is viewable to people I don't know, thank you!

You can hide everything. You can even keep people from being able to search your name. Just make sure you go to the "Privacy Settings" section (if you set up an account) and make those changes. Because I think when you first open it a few things default to everyone...

As far as personal information required...I don't think that to open an account they require much more than name, age, and email...and yes you can keep even your friends from seeing your email address. Hope it works out for you.
