I logged on to Facebook this morning and noticed that my friend count went up by 20 without having added anyone. Anybody know why this is?

i have exactly the same problem? idk what it is, would be interesting to know who it is and how they appeared in my friend list

I believe Facebook has either changed the function that counts friends or done a refresh as mine and several of my friend's friend count have randomly risen by 20-30 over the last few days. Nothing to worry about, I don't think you've actually gained friends but instead now have a more accurate count.
