I recently created a twitter for my small tshirt company (http://www.twitter.com/mokothemonkey) and over about a month I have gotten 18 followers. I only know 2 of them. Where did the others come from? I haven't advertised it much and barely use hashtags.
Also how can I get more followers? Thanks!

So you're complaining about getting followers you don't know... but you want to know how to get more followers that you don't know?
Twitter Trolls follow everybody. That's your answer.
And to answer your second question: Let Twitter Trolls keep following you.
And I don't think Twitter is the best advertising service anyway.

people just add people.
there is a suggested adding list on there too. you may have popped up there for them.
advertise and you add people too
