I need to leave some groups, so I can join my friends bands group but have no idea where they are!

On your homepage (where your news feed appears), there is a list on the left underneath your profile picture. It should have as default "news feed, messages, events, friends." At the bottom of this list there is the click-able word "more." If you click that and expand the list, the "groups" option should appear. You have to visit each individual group, and click on "leave group" on the left-hand side of the group page (toward the bottom).

go to applications and then groups and select the group you want
