Facebook engrained in Western Society? - Brian - 11-09-2012 09:35 AM So I wondered along to this evening class last night and had a strange experience. Afterwards I started speaking to the instructor about the club activities and she mentions there's a Facebook site with more info. I merely state I don't like Facebook, therefore don't have a profile and she looks at me like I'm from another planet!!! Apart from situations like this - and the fact I see people log in to the site all the time whether on their phones or laptops - do you not find that social networking has worryingly entered our society to the point that a personal profile page is almost like an extension of your identity? Cheers! (PS can't help but laugh at the irony of yahoo questions letting me share this on Facebook!) - Loaded Question. - 11-09-2012 09:43 AM FB is an open interface/platform used by the CIA to keep track of people. Zuckerberg is a CIA agent. |
