I don't want to hide the entire list from people, just maybe one or two friends of mine. Is that possible? How can it be done?

No it is not possible because all of your friends will show up.

It is not possible. The only way would be to minimize the friends box, which would hide all friends.

no, the only way would be to put friends on private here http://www.facebook.com/privacy/?view=profile (minimizing box doesnt do anything). the only way to make them invisible is to block them or delete them as a friend. why would you want to hide them?
