Ok Recently i was Given a iPhone 3g 4.2.1 (no sim) (jailbroken) and i cannot download apps like facebook, tumblr, ect because i need to update 4.3+ or higher im willing to do whatever measure to apply the update can anyone help?

cant.the 3g is outdated and no longer supported.
you can jailbreak with whited00rs 5.1 firmwar for the 3g..that might work to get some new apps to work on the old iphone 3g
