Why do I feel like a loner all the time when there's not anything obvious that's wrong with me? - toby - 11-09-2012 09:46 AM

I'm 16 years old, male, and a completely normal person. I've played Football all my life, get above average grades at school, I don't consider myself ugly, I'm slim, fashionable, can talk to people... etc etc

The problem is, whenever I'm at school or something I just feel like I'm ignored. I'll be sitting with a group of people and everyone will be laughing and talking, but the only time I ever talk to someone is when I start the conversation with them. There never seems to be a case when its them talking to me. I watch girls giving other guys loads of attention, but the attention never seems to be for me. Like I said, I'm not different or anything and as far as I'm aware there's nothing I've ever done to offend anyone. Then, there's always parties that my friends have, and they get setup on Facebook, but I never get invited. I will go on Facebook and see pictures of everyone from 'last night' and every time I just think, wow, another party I was never told about. It's quite demoralizing because I'm not out to annoy or hurt anyone, but I just feel like nobody wants to be associated with me? any suggestions?

Do you make an effort to socialise with people? Friends don't just come to you for no reason and girls won't pay attention to you until you do/say something to get their attention. If you want people to talk to you more why don't you organise a party/drink up yourself?

Sorry it's not very detailed but I really hope this helps. Smile
