Okay so im 18, soon to be 19, my mom and me were looking to see on a matrimonial site if we could find a match for my cousin sister, there we came across a profile of a guy who is 22, lives in the same city and i really liked him, i found him on facebook and i told him that his profile really appealed to me and i also told him that im not looking to get married any time soon, im just startin out and since his name was on a matrimonial site, im assuming he is looking to find a match, so i told him that i really liked his profile and the least we can do is be friends if thats okay with him(i want more than that ofcourse, but i did not want to come across as creepy)
Did I make myself look like a fool? Will he think im some tramp for speaking my mind instead of bottling up my feelings?
And also how long should i wait for his reply? 2 days? a week max?

Well it sounds a little weird/creepy like you were stalking him. But hopefully he's a nice guy and will forget about it and try to get to know you
