how to keep facebook apps from posting to my wall by themselves? - Elle - 11-09-2012 09:49 AM

Long story short, I play farmville and the new update they have for the game (which will fix some problems I've been having with it) requires me to give permission to the app to post stuff to my wall whenever they feel like it, instead of the way I was doing it where I would have to hit "post" before anything would get posted from farmville to my wall.

My friends who also play farmville have given the game permission to do this before, and now every time they play their page gets flooded with farmville posts. Is there anyway to accept the apps request and then go somewhere into the controls and turn off farmville's ability to post stuff to my wall. I really need the update for the game, but I don't want to make my page look messy or flood the general feed either.

Thanks Smile

Go into account settings, application settings, find FarmVille. Find "post to my wall" and "Publish games and app activity" and click remove. Problem solved.

the short solution is that go to your wall and where you find this types of posts, move your cursor and move it to the cross sign when you will click it, then it will give you options that you wanna remove all such type of posts etc. this is how your all posts of this type would be invisible for onward use as well Smile
