showing interest or showing up in front of friends? - EDAMONS - 11-09-2012 09:50 AM

College: I was walking out of the cafe with the alpha male of my class, and walking our way from the other end of the corridor was my crush and her group of friends, she was leading the herd. When we saw each other, things became instantly awkward, for me at least. I just acted natural, but she seemed to stop (I didn't look) turn to her friends and was like 'where are you going?!'. I figure it was awkward for her too
After college. I was half way towards the bus stop, and I fell behind her and her friends. I don't know if originally she knew I was there, but she noticed me after a little while, as they stopped and looked down another road. I crossed to the other side of the street (I had my earphones in) and started walking across the draw bridge there, acting as if I never noticed her. A moment later something hit me in the ribs from behind, not hard, and when I turned to look, my crush ran around and behind her friends. I just shook my head and kept walking. (On another occasion, I would of chased her, but she literally makes me feel like my world is ending - in a somewhat positive way).
That night was a rare occasion as he started up the conversation on Facebook, asking why I walked off. I said I was being a gentleman in not retaliating, when really I think she was showing up in front of her friends, and that next time she wouldn't be so lucky. She said that her and her friends were calling me (EARPHONES!! I couldn't hear!), and that she poked me to get my attention.
I said she shouldn't of run away if she wanted my attention, and cause that didn't work she should of grabbed me. She responded with 'grab you!? Like grabbing you by the arm and pulling you around everywhere!?' I said yes, it would of been fun and she answered with a 'fun for me, yeah :3'. This then lead in to a very small banter session before we stopped talking.

-I suck with girls & she knows I'm interested in her.
