I Block EVERY application on facebook that a friends asks. I dont want/care about a new piece of flair, bumper sticker, snowball, or mafia war, etc.. Is there a way i can prevent having to see in my newsfeed that Person A sent a new piece of flair to person B? I blocked the application but i am still getting a news feed about my friend's application story activities. OR do i have to ask them to turn it off at their end? (which seems rude?)

imyself, 'd tell 'em to stop and rattle off how pointless those games are. but that's just me.

Up in the right hand corner area there's a Settings button/tab and then go into that and Newsfeed Wall and see if you can get what you need fixed that way.
Also try the Applications tab in there too.
