Facebook Privacy Issue? - Darren R - 11-09-2012 09:54 AM I created a dummy Facebook account just so I could test out the privacy settings on my real account... I'm not friends with myself (so to speak) but I can find myself in the search results, which is fine, and when I click on to my profile all of the information, photos, wall etc are not visible (as per the settings I chose), but I can see Events that I am due to go to (by clicking on the Events tab). I don't want non friends to be able to see what Events I am attending, does anyone know how I can change this? I can't find anything to do with Events in the privacy settings. Also, I can see my 'Pages' - ie things that I am a fan of. How do I hide this also? - suki - 11-09-2012 10:02 AM You can't hide what you're a fan of from others, everyone can see everyones which is the new annoying thing they've done. But i think you can change the events thing, go to applications > edit applications > and where it says events, click on edit settings and you can change the privacy settings there. |
