Log onto your Fb account and go on the drop-down box named ACCOUNT. Select ACCOUNT SETTINGS. Go on the left side menu and select MOBILE. Under NOTIFICATIONS you should select EDIT and turn them OFF.
Since you are still on ACCOUNT SETTINGS. You may also want to back to the side menu and select NOTIFICATIONS. Scroll all the way down and it should say OTHER APPLICATIONS. Once you have selected that you may edit who sends you notifications via e-mail or mobile. You can select SHOW MORE to view all your applications.
If you have an Iphone, you can go on SETTINGS. Scroll down to the apps and select the FACEBOOK one. There you will see and option that says PUSH NOTIFICATIONS. Once you select it you can turn ON/OFF notifications.
