the ads are stoping me from seeing the photos section from where i can see people new uploads.

Unfortunately there is no way to stop your Facebook from getting ads, it is a way for them to get paid. Sorry!/:

That is how Facebook generates its revenue. The more people on Facebook looking at ads, the more they make.
