I want to remove farmville and mafia wars before school starts so i concentrate on school and not games. There must be a way, how? Thanks!

on your facebook go to settings > Application Setting
search for farmville and click Edit Settings and choose Additional Permissions tab
utick the Publish recent activity (one line stories) to my wall
click on applications then edit applications and click the "X" button next to farmville to delete it
done
