On Facebook, should i pick the new timeline profile or stuck with the old? - DetectiveBoxer - 11-09-2012 10:05 AM

I've noticed recently a lot of my Facebook friends have selected the new Timeline kind of profile for Fb..
i don't know if i should get the new Timeline cus it looks really confusing and compact! which is better? the normal facebook profile or one with the new Timeline?

I like the old one. It keeps asking me to update to timeline and I refuse because it is so cluttered and hard to follow. I did hear they are forcing it on everyone soon, though.

Just to let you know

the new timeline reveals all your history on facebook from when you joined.
so you and friends can see all the cringey statuses you made when you was 13 or 14 haha.

They didn't select it. Facebook is rolling it out without you having any say in it. You can stick with the old for as long as you like, but one day, the switch will be made for you.

So don't think of it as some sort of a "trend". Seriously though, why is it so important to follow trends? Think for yourself? Especially when you already KNOW you don't like timeline. Geez.

I know you may prefer not to have it but you may end up getting it like it or not. They give you a few chances to say yes or no and then they do it anyway. That is mr experience with their updates. They are eventually forced.

Kind Regards

Well not like you have much of a choice anyway since everyone will eventually have Timeline. You probably should go to it one time to start getting used to it.

stick with the old definitely! timeline is a nightmare! it really sucks!

BTW you can go back to viewing the old profile page format instead of timeline pages by following this simple guide:
