if you comment on a friends post, will other friends who aren't friends with that person be updated through the news feed or ticker? and also are friends on the restricted list updated/informed when i make a comment to other people's posts even if they are not friends with the other person?
i know it will be visible, i just want to know if they are updated about it through the news feed and ticker, in this scenario my friends list is hidden so if i make a comment on someones post, will my other friends be updated about it even though they aren't friends with this person.

Everything is visible. Look at the post, is the post shared with public / friends / friends of friends.
In these 3 cases posts are visible to everyone.
