i was chatting with my friend on facebook who was using his i phone 4 to chat with me. it has the little phone picture beside his name. So on my labtop it did say the location he is (name of his city). Now my question is, would his i phone tell him the name of my city? or is it only me who could see his location because he was on his phone?
when i was chatting with my other friends who were using their pc, i didn't get to see that info.

It will only post your location if your are using a phone/ipod. You can however choose to post your location on a computer.
