Father hired a guy to hack into my facebook help? - Giia :) - 11-09-2012 10:11 AM

My father hired a man to hack into my facebook. I know this because he told me this, my father works for IMB and is an IT guy so he knows people and computers. My father has read every message I ever sent and knows all the conversations between my boyfriend and I (which is private, personal, and my boyfriend was suppose to be a secret).
I need help, what do I do, how do i kick the hacker out?
I need my privacy and dont want them reading any messages anymore! (i obviously will not message my boyfriend that way anymore) I need advice. Also, i was lucky because after reading the messages my father was going to disown me. (messages weren't that bad.. my boyfriend has some negative views though)
JUST so we are clear.. I am a full time uni student living away from home, who has worked and is studying. I have awards and scholarships along with student loans and help from parents. I am busting my ass for my education and a little privacy shouldn't be terrible. I do not smoke, i do not drink, I am a virgin, and I do not do bad things.
My parents are incredibly strict and control every aspect of my life. A little bit of privacy shouldn't be too much to ask.

Well I really don't know your father so this might not be the case. He might not have hired someone to do it, he just might be saying that to keep you from doing anything wrong. Or he could be doing it himself. Facebook is pretty secure so don't worry too much, but it's still possible to hack. There is nothing you can do about it, when they hack it they basically get into your account and have access to all of the stuff you do and can do

Best bet might be to contact facebook and tell them there has been unauthorized access of your account.

Are you living at home, using the utilities, internet, food, clothing and the roof over your head your parents provide and pay for? If yes, you aren't entitled to privacy until you get out on your own and pay your own dues little girl. Get over it. If you were my daughter and posted this crap, it would be a LONG time before you used my internet service. Start pulling your weight at home and quit whining.

Change your password and make it strong and long ,include letters ,numbers and puntuations before your dad does that quickly before you do that. Always log out after using your account

If you had an easy password, then it is strongly recommended that you change it to something more difficult. Use a combination of letters, numbers, and (allowable) punctuation characters.
