Lots of people with like 400 friends now have only 150 or something.
Some people even unfriended me!

They are likely just getting rid of people they don't really know that well or have no real reason to be in contact with.

Well! I've been doing this for awhile now, and really it's because I don't like having so many people readily able to see my information. Also, there's a lot of people I just don't know, so I remove them.
I used to have over 1,000 people added as "friends", but I've decreased that to 850.

i dont have a fb account but why does this seem weird to you? Sounds perfectly healthy to me, do you facebookers even know what a friend is?

It's a privacy issue. There's bad people out there pretending to be friends.
