I Have followers on twitter (@AshleyySiimone) but i cant get to get ppl to follow me on tumblr (ashleyysiimone.tumblr.com) ive added my tumblr too my facebook and my twitter but no followers. i follow a lot of ppl but none of them follow me back. is there another way to get more followers? please help me

You can promote on the web or follow others who follow you back, purchasing followers may be an option. Unless the Tumblr generates revenue this might not be a good idea.

- Promo for promo, get people to promote you.
- Follow people who follow back.
- Add tags to your pictures so they find stuff easier, and get to your blog.
- re-blog, but not a lot!
- Ask questions.
- Post interesting stuff.
- Get to know other tumblr users.

These are my personal rules of Tumblr success:
1. be consistent in your posts
a. have a list of things you post about (should be derived from list of things you enjoy). if you don’t know what to post look at this list; post something you haven’t posted about in a while. it might help to put this list on your page
b. be artistic about your page; if it looks like shit then fix it. the first thing people see when they look at your tumblr is your first page; if it’s full of reblog-lines and gifs that don’t work you won’t be giving your best impression
2. be friendly and outgoing
a. ask questions
b. ask good questions
3. promote your favorite blogs; they will likely promote you back and if not it’s worth it because love has been spread
4. this is not facebook. don’t follow people just because you “know†them in real life, unless you actually like their blog or they are really your friend
5. see pretty girls; flirt with them. you never know how things might turn out
6. never be Anon; never be a pussy
7. don’t hate. it’s not worth it, ever ever ever
8. tag the crap out of your posts
9. don’t be afraid to be yourself; tumblr is for finding like-minded people; for every person who hates your blog there are ten people who think you are the cat’s velvet-robe-and-corncob-pipe-and-fuzzy-slippers
10. don’t bitch. unless your followers like it; then go ahead and bitch
