i thought about facebook , espically there is a group for my faculty and everyone on it but I am afraid to add someone and they refuse the request and It would be weird to see them in real after that .
so do you think should I give it a try or what ?
btw I feel shy to add girls because you know
but I am easy going and talking with them in real soo somehow I feel so awkward writting this 
anyway , well any help will be greatly appreciated , thanks ^^

Hello! That is wonderful that you want to make new friends the first year of college! It can seem intimidating, but if you strike up a conversation with the people in your class or on your floor in your dorm, you may be surprised by how receptive people are. You can start by chatting about TV shows, new movies, or class topics. Once you have had a conversation, you can add them on facebook and then keep having in person conversations. I hope you meet some great friends!
