How to get rid of Facebook Timeline? - Jacob - 11-09-2012 10:20 AM

A while back I took up the new Facebook Timeline and now I'm just sick of it. I miss the old profile page. How do I get it back? I've looked all over Facebook and can't find anything. Help!?

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update - they are now forcibly converting everyone slowly without your consent

this guide will help you learn how to use it

You cant, ive tried. the best way is to make a new account but it wouldn't make any sense in making a new account because soon all Facebook users will have timeline. but yea if your seeking to get rid of it there's no possible way but to make a new account.

Its not possible to completely remove Timeline, but you can alter your own view of Timeline in your browser to display it in a single column layout, to make timeline pages easier to read, you just need to install the FB Purity browser extension and select the single column layout option.

This method is safe and it really works, you can tell this because it has over 61,000 "likes" on the page, and hundreds of positive comments from people who have got it to work.

FB Purity has also been reviewed and highly rated in The Washington Post, CNET, Lifehacker and PCWorld.
