I've seen like all those *scene* and *emo* kids with over 1000 friends on facebook, and some even when they just joined.
I'm not stereotyping I just didn't know what to call them.
But how do they get so much friends in such a short time?

I read a news report about websites selling facebook friends and twitter followers, maybe they are customers? Seems pretty sad to me...

Pete is right. You can actually BUY friends these days.

its a simple fact. the more friends you have on facebook, the less friends you have in real-life. problem solved....

They are idiots. Criminals spend their days asking people to be friends with them and the "friendless" or people who like to look popular just click accept without knowing who they are.
This leaves them open to pedo's, identity thieves and all sorts ...
if you don't know them, don't accept.
