I only have 5 followers (yes, it's pathetic). But I have interesting tweets. a little help please? my Twitter is ErikuhhSue btw, if you'd like to follow(:

A good way to get followers is to join a Twitter train. You goto the website, sign in and follow people. Once you've followed, you're added to the train, then the new people add you to join the train. You could give this one a try: http://targetfollowers.com

Ask your friends and family to join Twitter too. Tell them you account, and ask them to follow you. in return, follow back. Seeing that you've protected your tweets, I'm not sure if this would be the best idea.

You can use a free Twitter following program, there is one called the Guvnor which can be downloaded from the site in my resource box. It randomly adds and removes the top Twitter users, so their followers get to see and add you.
Also here's a quick tip...I looked at your profile and noticed you have protected your tweets, more people will follow you if you don't do this.

The key to getting followers in Twitter is by following others. However, you probably don't want to follow just anybody. You want to follow people who are interested in the things that you are interested in. So make a list of 7 keywords or things that you are interested in and then watch this video about how to sign-up for a free Twitter application that will allow you to follow people using your keywords. Because you both share an interest, there is a high probability that they will follow you back.
