Is there anyway to do this besides clicking hide for every individual post??

no, you have to go thru all the stupid stuff you did years ago and delete or hide them one by one
there is no magic wand that just gets rid of everything - facebook didnt think of that - besides, they use all of that information for marketing and profit - that's one of the ways they make money - selling information to advertisers - same as TV

go to your timeline and then go to one of your post and you will
see a star and a pencil on the right hand side of the post.
click on the "pencil" that will say edit or remove. click that and you will
see that it will say "hide from timeline" then click that.
