No, I don't have this though I have had similar happenings on my computer. I suggest having some sort of antivirus such as AVG Free if you don't already, they can help block popups while browsing, and possibly inform you if it could be something more serious like some sort of virus.

Here is a link for AVG Free: http://free.avg.com/us-en/homepage

Facebook is stupid. Going on the internal network of world wide computers, is definitely not safe, no matter what anti virus software you have. It is merely a matter of time before you have some form of malware, spyware, virus, etc. I suggest you run your browser sandboxed, using Sandboxie. Hope it is still available. Good luck fixing your computer.

It sounds like you have inadvertently installed a type of program known as "adware", that inserts ads into websites that you visit. You need to install and run some anti malware scanning software such as Malwarebytes Antimalware or SuperAntiSpyware to get rid of it.

BTW once you have cleaned that up, a great way to remove the normal ads (sponsored posts / stories) on facebook is to install the FB Purity browser extension, its 100% safe & has lots of features for keeping your facebook clean: http://fbpurity.com
