I have a few games on my iphone that have the option of linking the app to my facebook account (like high scores etc). So within the app there is the option to Connect to Facebook. When this button is pressed I am brought to a facebook login screen.
My questions are, is there any inherent danger in linking iPhone apps
to facebook? Can the developers of the app acquire my facebook password, or account information by doing this?

I don't think they can, I think it's pretty safe and secure. :]

They most likely cant, because you got that certain game from the app sotre and the app store is trusted
