Could facebook be sued for acting slowly on a false profile? - chris m - 11-09-2012 10:27 AM

About a month and a half ago a fake, very convincing facebook profile was created under my sisters name. The girls actively posted things on other peoples walls, talked to other people, and even went as far as to call another girl. It has been over a month now since my sister reported her facebook profile numerous times, and they have yet acted on deleting it from their database. Could facebook be sued, or would the girls be the ones at fault in a hypothetical case?

Yes if you do know who these girls are then you can report it to your local police station & they can make a case out of it if its that serious. Hope this helps

I hope someone sues them for this kind of thing soon.

It would be expensive though.
