How to turn off Facebook Friends post in group notification? - LOL - 11-09-2012 10:27 AM

So I added this fb friend recently (i have to, cuz he's our group project partner). Apparently he posts something every other hour in this facebook group of our big lecture class. Which is super annoying cuz most of my notifactions are personal (like "xxx posted on your wall". I don't want to see things like "xxx posted in the group". You know what i mean? i don't wanna get notifactions of him every hour. Please help!

You can simply add that user to your smart friend list named: Acquaintances. So notifications would be limited.
You can also set by opting for "Get Notifications" & "Show in News Feed". This can be done when you mouse hover on that user profile and move to friends tab.

either go to the group page and click on notifications and turn them off, or go to the post that you commented in, which he is also commenting in, and click "unfollow post" at the top of the post
