I accidentally added a dad of one of the guys in my year and its embarrassing, so I canceled it. Will he still see a link to my profile if he checks his facebook friend requests?

No he will not see a link because you have cancelled your request.

No he will not get notified when you canceled your request. But he may still see an email: Saying This person wants to be friends with you on facebook. Once he checks his friend request he won't see you.
