Why do people care so much when you join a bunch of Facebook groups? - Blargh - 11-09-2012 10:31 AM

So sometimes i might get a little bored and join some groups on facebook or become a fan of some stuff. Then some people will start freaking out and telling me to stop and saying "this shit needs to end". why the hell do they even care? it's my profile.

Because it shows on their feeds and it gets annoying. Lol... But just cause they freak out about it doesn't mean you have to stop.

It depends on what you're doing. If you're just joining groups then it might be getting annoying for them to see it on their feeds. But you might be inviting them to join these groups, which clogs the bandwidth for the site when your friends go to their home page requests section (a small problem but only if you're inviting them to a whole freaking lot of groups).
Your friends might be getting offended by the things you're joining or becoming a fan of.
You might want to think before you act, because a whole lot of people can see what you're doing on your profile (future colleges, businesses, parents and principals even that you didn't contact on Facebook). And even though it may seem that being radical is funny, it sometimes gets very annoying. But it's up to you.
