Twitter slang: what does this mean? - Lolar Pinch - 10-01-2012 03:28 PM

Ok well I was on Bruno Mars' twitter page and he wrote this:
A girl walks up to me and says "you look like that singer" I say "Bruno mars?" She replies "ill hell no" #KindaHurts

What does #KindaHurts mean?

I clicked the link and it just took me to a page where other people have said the same quote.
WHAT IS IT!?
Lol but why does it have a link?
why can't it just be in normal writing and whats with the # sign

Kinda hurts. Pretty obvious.

That it kinda hurts.

What other people said and the # sign is like a comment about it. E.g " My hair looks so bad" #Ihaterain
idk why the # comment, its just a way to get stuff trending : )

On Twitter they have trending topics and trending phrases. They use the # sign. It's a Twitter thing, I guess.

It means Kinda Hurts! Twitter prahses can be tracked so that people can talk to other people talking about the same things. That's how they do Twitter parties.

idk why they put # there..

he said Kinda Hurts. but, if you put a space the whole word wont be like the link or something. i dont know what its about. i guess like the main topic or a point .
