So you know how theres that thing to have your closest friends thingy yeah well my friend has me in it but i don't want to be in it because she gets notifications when I update my status & i hate that, is there any way I can get out of that?

Either:
Hide all of your statuses from that person (which isn't a very nice thing to do, its basically just like deleting them)
Or you're going to have to get on her account and switch that off.
You could maybe ask her to take you off that list?

I think you should block them if you have no connection with this person but you can manage your lists here
