How do you revert back from timeline on facebook? - njoysinuyasha - 11-09-2012 10:34 AM

I was just wondering if there was a way to go back to the regular format on facebook?
in other words, timeline ---> old facebook format

Once you have switched to the Facebook Timeline format, you are unable to go back to the standard profile format. Sorry.

You cannot. They are slowly migrating everyone over to timeline, so it is inevitable for everyone.

There's no way to undo the Timeline upgrade. Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.

Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are.

If you dont like timeline, theres no way to get rid of it, once its enabled on your account, its just not possible. You can however disable Timeline in your own browser, and view all personal and fan page profiles in the old style single column format. You just need to follow the simple guide here:

This method is safe and it really works, you can tell this because it has over 55,000 "likes" on the page, and hundreds of positive comments from people who have got it to work.

FB Purity has also been reviewed and highly rated in The Washington Post, CNET, Lifehacker and PCWorld
