I have a duplicate picture in facebook profile album. Would like to delete one of them

Go to the picture and underneath you have an option to edit. Click on it and then delete the photo you no longer want.

when you view a photo, on the bottom left hand corner just below it says some stuff like

just press delete this photo.

When you view the picture in the album there should be a list of options underneath and one of them is "Delete this photo." Just click that and that should take care of it.
