do you judge people by their facebook? - Daisy - 11-09-2012 10:36 AM

for example, when you become friends with someone for the first time, do you form opinions of them based on what you see?

Yes, cos that's what people do these day.

Don't have facebook, but even if I did I wouldn't do it ... Facebook isn't a reliable resource on which to judge some one

Not unless its something shocking or outlandish does my opinion change. Like if I met someone at a party and they were very nice, cordial and warm, I would leave thinking they were nice, cordial and warm, even when I looked at their facebook later. However if I looked at their facebook and there were pictures of this person doing jello shots and holding a baby upside down by his or her toes, then I would definetly be scared, and I would form a totally new opinion.
But if its someone I just met on the internet and friended on facebook, Of course Im going to judge them. thats the only thing you have to go off of.

Hope I helped. Help with mine? Smile

The only way you can actually judge a person, is to hang around with him/her, share interrests and find out more about eachother. You can't base personality on just a quick view on facebook. As a matter of fact, you shouldn't even judge people outside of facebook. Because you never really know what a person is like before getting to know the person.
