New Facebook Privacy Settings..? - emerald m - 11-09-2012 10:42 AM Hi, i just recently looked myself up on the internet, and saw i was listed for people could go to my page on facebook, and i don't WANT to be listed on the internet. So my question is; Is there a way i can go into my privacy settings and take te option OFF htat i don't want to be visible to the public? - meli - 11-09-2012 10:50 AM Yes, click on Account (upper right) select privacy. At the bottom of that page under Applications and websites click on "edit my settings" find public search - edit settings, uncheck enable public search. - sogy - 11-09-2012 10:50 AM You can do that by going to Account->Privacy Settings->View Settings->Search for you on Facebook. Also If you set any of your privacy settings as Everyone then it becomes available on the Internet. I have written a detailed guide on how to set all your privacy settings to suit your need.
