I got a new twitter because I hardly had any followers on my last one and I find it awkward tweeting because my friends are on that account and i dont want them to see my tweets, so now i have like 1 follower, how do I get more? Thanks xx

I did the exact same thing. Follow a lot of other people that share your interests and try to use a hashtag (#) or two in a tweet.

If there are like blogs or podcasts you follow you could see if they have a link to their twitter you could follow them.
