well I heard that there's going to be a certain date when everyone gets a timeline . I tried to install it but I won't let me ... it usually says get now but for this account I have it won let me !!! on another account I have it does let me .

There was a lot of false information going around because Facebook didn't make any official statement about how the upgrade would be deployed. Although Facebook upgrades have never been optional until this moment, Facebook never said that it would implement Timeline automatically for everyone in a certain date.
