i HATE the new privacy settings on facebook. we shouldn't have to show our friend list to all of our friends. there are some friends that i hide my list from. it's like allowing your cell phone contact list to be viewed by everyone in the contact list! it's ABSURD! do you think they'll change the new settings? maybe revert to the old setting?

The FTC has sent them a letter over the issue demanding that they fix their deceptive security settings.

You can change the privacy settings of your wall by going to your facebook profile and clicking the lock which appears beside the 'Share' button
You can put your friends to private by clicking the pencil icon which appears besides your friends box.
You can change all other settings by clicking Settings at the top right side of the page. If you want to change privacy settings, scroll down and click 'Manage' which appears besides Privacy
