I've made a meme on twitter but i want to get at least a thousand or more followers, how did OhWonka and BadLuckBrian get so many followers? please help don't judge.

Ask your friends, ask your family, if still not enough, promote yourself on facebook.
If you still want more try getting them from free throw social media exchange websites like http://www.socialclerks.com/ which will definitely get you easy followers without to much effort.
If the rate of gaining followers is still not enough, buy them!
