RT means 'retweet' and TT means 'trending topic'
If a tweet is retweeted enough then it will become a trending topic
You can retweet a tweet by clicking the 'retweet button' Twitter provides or copying it as your own status w/ the RT sign & the twitter name of the person who tweeted it.
