Possible to remove custom dates on Facebook timeline? - Kenner116 - 11-09-2012 10:50 AM

For example, when you add a photo or album to Facebook, by default, it does not have a date. Once you add a custom date, you can change it, but cannot remove it. A photo or album with a custom date will have a little circular clock next to the date you have chosen. Is there any way to get rid of it? It seems that the only way to do this is to delete and then re-upload the photo or album.
Yes, the first answer is what I had assumed. Maybe Facebook will add this option in the future.

there are 2 dates actually... when you upload the picture it date stamps that, and then there is the "when it was taken" date stamp which is optional

but yes, once you set that date, you cant "unset" it... unless you just change it back to the same date as the date it was uploaded
