Facebook apps are Web applications that load directly inside the Facebook interface. There are hundreds of apps to choose from, and users are encouraged to create their own apps to share with the Facebook community. There are numerous game apps on Facebook, and in order to play a game you have to allow the app to access your Facebook profile data. A list of all the currently-installed apps is visible in the "Privacy Settings" area of Facebook.
Visit Facebook's App Directory page and click the "Games" menu button to browse a list of all the game apps on Facebook. Click on a game to go to its page and learn more about it. Click the "Go to App" button, then click "Allow" to install the app on your Facebook profile and begin playing the game.
